LIPOR back in ANGOLA

LIPOR is on an international mission in Luanda, Angola. In response to another request from the Congregation of the Salesians of Don Bosco, LIPOR is providing technical assistance to the Ecojovens Project to set up a "Workshop for the Repair of Small Domestic Appliances”.

This mission covers 3 main areas of intervention:
- Cooperation Program.
- Creating and setting up a workshop.
- Definition of a monitoring and performance plan.

The LIPOR consultant's mission is to share knowledge and experiences, work with the target audience on the technical design of adapted work methodologies, develop the concept of circular economy, with the aim of repairing and extending the useful life of broken electrical and electronic equipment.

LIPOR is supporting young people and women in Luanda, creating job opportunities and promoting sustainable development. The workshop will function as a learning and practice center, where participants will be able to acquire valuable skills for the job market, while contributing to the reduction of e-waste production in the region.

The partnership between LIPOR and the Congregation of the Salesians of Don Bosco is a significant example of how international collaboration generates positive impact at local level, promoting sustainability and community empowerment.

This initiative contributes to improving the quality of life of young Angolan women, inspiring other communities to adopt sustainable practices and to value repair and recycling a fundamental pillars for a greener and more inclusive future
