Moderation of the panel women in business leadership and the challenges related to ESG | WOMEN IN ESG

LIPOR was in charge of moderating the panel at the event "Women, Literature and Nature”, which took place at the Casa Comum of the Rectory of the University of Porto on June 7.

The event was organized by Business as Nature, in partnership with ‘Livraria Exclamação’ and ´Casa Comum da Humanidade’.

This initiative, part of the "Women for Climate: from Portuguese-speaking Countries to the World” Movement, aimed to highlight the fundamental role of women in building a more inclusive and sustainable society and as defenders and guardians of natural and cultural values.

LIPOR, represented by the Head of the International Business Division, Susana Abreu, moderated the Panel that included the participation of 4 inspiring women with life stories and impactful career paths in each of the sectors they represent (Monica Gonçalves, General Manager Yeatman Hotel; Lígia Pinto, Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Minho and President of the APESB Board of Directors; Mercês Ferreira, Advisor in the Support Office of the Secretary of State for the Environment of the current Portuguese Government; Teresa Ponce Leão, President of LNEG - National Energy and Geology Laboratory).
