As a result of its contacts with Senegal, LIPOR has intensified its efforts and initiatives to prospect and disseminate skills, which it does on a regular basis.
This approach is the result of mutual interest in developing strategies and projects for urban waste management in Senegal, using LIPOR as a technical expert and using its integrated waste management model as a case study and reference.
Following this approach to Senegal and on the occasion of a visit to Portugal by the Portuguese Ambassador in Dakar, LIPOR was one of the organizations visited. This was an excellent opportunity to align strategies and define priorities for action.
