Casa da Música on the pathway to sustainability!

Casa da Música, one of the most emblematic cultural institutions in Portugal, is getting greener and greener!

In fact, with the intention of optimizing good environmental management practices, Casa da Música was part of LIPOR’s Coração Verde (Green Heart) Certification.

When participating in this Certification process, the institution receives technical support from Lipor, which makes a diagnosis and designs an action plan, tailored to its needs.

This intervention covers areas such as preventing waste production and promoting recycling and encompasses all the building's activity, including the Café do Artista, where improved work is being carried out to combat food waste.
