Let's give Everyone an EcoHappy Christmas: LIPOR's new campaign for an ecofriendly Christmas

Every year, and earlier and earlier, we start preparing Christmas: the streets, the shops and the houses light up. Times of great consumption, shopping and dinners with friends are approaching. In fact, Christmas touches everyone, without exception. But, has everyone already put into practice the experience of an ecofriendly Christmas?

There is no doubt that, if this is the most magical time of the year, it is also the one in which it is more difficult not to fall into excess, consuming too much, wasting and producing more waste. It is, therefore, that time when we need the most to balance the impact of our habits on the Planet.

But, if in fact we all know that good environmental practices are essential, why don't we apply them at Christmas? Can any Christmas really be good if we are negatively impacting the world?

Because we believe that a good Christmas is ecofriendly, LIPOR and its Associated Municipalities show, through their communication and awareness campaign, that small changes in our habits can give many years of life to the environment, showing how we can give at Christmas, without take it from the Planet!

We know that we ask Nature and it lends us. We always return it so we can ask again tomorrow. We are doing good! And, doing good generates joy, happiness! But what if this asset is associated with an Ecofriendly lifestyle? We call this "Eco-happiness”!

This is, then, the moment when we realize that the ability to influence and act to preserve the environment, to protect natural resources, to change habits and help those around us to do a little more for future generations is in our hands. This is the moment: "Let's give Everyone an EcoHappy Christmas”!

Therefore, this year LIPOR will, once again, echo good practices and share weekly advices and challenges, on social media, for a more Ecofriendly, EcoHappy Christmas!

And, because we want to take LIPOR's Christmas message further, this campaign is aimed at citizens of all Associated Municipalities, partners, customers and employees.
