Mobile Drop-off site: around 94 tonnes of materials delivered in 2023

In 2023, the Mobile Drop-off sites  continued their journey through the Associated Municipalities. Summing up, 93,820 kg of materials were brought in by citizens, which is equivalent in practical terms to the weight of about three passenger buses. There was a considerable increase in the delivery of some items, such as light bulbs, which increased by more than a tonne compared to the previous year; and ink and toner cartridges, with an increase of more than two tonnes.

Light bulbs, waste of electrical and electronic equipment, batteries, contaminated packaging, ink and toner cartridges, cork stoppers, non-packaging paper, CDs and DVDs. All these materials that we don't know what to do with when they're no longer useful to us can have a sustainable destination if they're handed in at the Mobile Drop-off site. Find out more about our citizens' participation:

The Mobile Drop-off sites were the solution created by LIPOR, in partnership with the Associated Municipalities, so that this waste doesn't end up in the bin. Available since 2021, the Mobile Drop-off sites are travelling around the eight Municipalities and their location can be found here.
