LIPOR Academy and HOOP Project promote training on circularity

Directed to technicians from Municipalities and Waste Management Entities, this training aims to promote the sharing of experiences between participants through the analysis of circularity tools and case studies.

The training will be in person and will take place at Casa do Corim, Maia, on February 21 and 22.

The HOOP Project, Urban Circular Bioeconomy Hub, is a European initiative funded by the Horizon 2020 Program that has a consortium of 23 partners from 10 European countries. LIPOR participates in the HOOP project as a Lighthouse Region, seeking to consolidate Greater Porto's position as a reference for circular economy and the production of bio-based products originating from bio-waste. In Portugal, we currently have 10 following regions: the Intermunicipal Community of Tâmega and Sousa, the Municipality of Guimarães, the Municipalized Services of Viana do Castelo, the Municipality of Lisbon, Valorsul, Gesamb, the Intermunicipal Community of Alentejo Central, the Municipality of Torres Vedras, Cascais Ambiente, the Municipality of Fornos de Algodres and the Municipality of Coimbra.
