Catim implements improvements in its waste management process with technical support from LIPOR

The Technological Support Center for the Metalworking Industry (Catim), in partnership with LIPOR, carried out a set of improvement initiatives in its waste management process, with the aim of increasing the amount of waste selectively delivered.

In this process, 57 new LIPOR recycling equipment were installed and 75 waste bins were removed. LIPOR's specialized support technician also included training with the promotion of awareness-raising actions that impacted 43 technicians and 3 people from the cleaning team.

The technical support provided by LIPOR is a service that seeks to help public and private organizations implementing good practices in waste management, improving their environmental performance. At the same time, this process promotes awareness and environmental education aimed at changing behavior.
