Delegation from the Municipality of Tomiño in Galicia visits LIPOR

On March 26th, LIPOR received a visit from a delegation from the Council of Tomiño, Province of Pontevedra of the Autonomous Community of Galicia. This delegation was constituted by the entire Concello executive and was led by the Alcaldesa-President - Sandra González Álvarez.

The objective of those responsible for the Concello was to learn about the work that LIPOR and its Associated Municipalities do in developing door-to-door selective collection projects and PAYT systems, systems that they intend to implement in the near future.

The visit came about through an expression of interest during recent presentations, made by LIPOR Technicians, in various locations in Galicia. LIPOR and its activities were presented and, specifically, DATACENTER, as a platform for managing collection processes in its Associated Municipalities.

During the afternoon, they visited the door-to-door collection system in the Municipality of Maia where, in addition to the operation on the ground, the information obtained by monitoring the circuits was evaluated.

The delegation, at the end of the visit, said they were speechless with the excellent work done by LIPOR and the collaboration with its Municipalities, having requested LIPOR's support in its decision-making processes.
