HOOP Project Partners debate circularity and bioeconomy at Casa do Corim

The circularity and the bioeconomy are current and pressing themes, which stand out in LIPOR's activity and constitute the scope of the HOOP Project - vitalization of the circular bioeconomy.

The HOOP Hub promotes a Network of Cities and Regions, promoting the exchange of ideas and experiences for the implementation of bioeconomy projects, providing all members of the Network with a set of technological, financial, legislative and circularity assessment tools. The integration of a city or region into the Network is free, as well as the access to the developed tools, information material and assistance in project development.

To enhance the dissemination and replication of the HOOP project, in February, Academia LIPOR held a training session on the theme "Circularity: Challenges, Tools and Case Studies", which was attended by 32 people from 12 Cities and Regions that are already part of the net.

Throughout a productive day of work, we spoke to some of those present to understand their motivations and concerns in the work they carry out towards circularity. In the video summary of the training, you can find out what led some of the regions to join HOOP, what are the biggest challenges to circularity for a city/region at the moment, or what are some of the tools available with more immediate application.
