LIPOR System meets with its associated Municipalities to Plan the Implementation of PAPERSU2030

On March 25th, LIPOR and its associated Municipalities - Espinho, Gondomar, Maia, Matosinhos, Porto, Póvoa de Varzim, Valongo and Vila do Conde - met at Casa do Corim, to plan the implementation of their Intermunicipal Plans and Municipal Action Plans (PAPERSU) that implement the actions and initiatives to be developed towards complying with the national strategy for urban waste by 2030.

This was a very participated and productive meeting, with several topics being discussed, namely the Performance of the LIPOR System in the year 2023, the sharing of the measures included and foreseen in the PAPERSU of the different entities and the outline of a program of activities for the current year.

This was the first meeting of 2024 of the LIPOR System with the aim of joining efforts to achieve the ambitious European recycling targets defined for LIPOR and its associated Municipalities.
