LIPOR's Communication Campaign on waste reuse is recognized by the Prémios Lusófonos da Criatividade

The Prémios Lusófonos da Criatividade (Lusophone Creativity Awards) awarded LIPOR's "Comunidades Reuse” communication campaign with the Bronze distinction, in the Sustainability category, Environment and Sustainability subcategory. This is one of the largest international creativity festivals based in Portugal and also the only one in the world dedicated exclusively to awarding, honoring and debating the advertising and communication markets in Portuguese-speaking countries.

Developed by Winício agency and financed by the Environmental Fund, under the motto "what is waste for many, for us is a resource", the Campaign was designed with the objective of creating circular, sustainable and collaborative communities. The mission is clear: to increase the perception of the reuse value, extending the useful life of goods such as clothing, electronic equipment and furniture and maximizing its value in LIPOR's area of influence.

"Reuse Changes Everything” was the creative concept chosen to convey in a direct and impactful way the attitude of changing, not only the fate of used goods, but also the world, making it more sustainable.

During the "Reuse Changes Everything” communication campaign duration (August through October 2023), we broaded the scope of the project, reaching more than 338,207 people digitally. To inspire changes in behavior, cooperation and the dissemination of sustainable practices, we published a Digital Guide of Reduction and Reuse Good Practices and created a traveling exhibition which allow us to further spread the message that Reusing is changing the perception we have of used materials, is to value them and give them a new life!

With eleven years of existence, the Lusophone Creativity Awards have fulfilled their mission of honoring the best work done by Agencies, Professionals, Studios and Producers in all countries that speak our language. The "Lusos” have also been an important support in promoting an approach between these markets, bringing to Portugal, whenever possible, some of the world's biggest names in the creative industry.

This is the second award given to the campaign, after being awarded at the M&P Communication Awards last February. On the occasion, LIPOR was also recognized for the "Dose Certa” communication campaign on food waste.
