LIPOR participates in GRACE's – Responsible Companies – rentrée event

On October 2nd, LIPOR participated in an event that brought together companies from the GRACE Board of Directors and Knowledge Partners. The event included a working session, in which LIPOR participated as the leader of the water working group, alongside with the Institute for Sustainable Construction (ICS) as a knowledge partner.

Members from all GRACE working groups were involved in the session, which resulted in the sharing of ideas and reflections that highlight the importance of these groups in continuing to promote business practices that create a positive impact on organizations, people, communities, and the planet.

During the event, Isabel Barros, president of GRACE, shared the strategic pillars and areas of focus that will guide GRACE's actions during the 2024-2026 triennium, emphasizing the increasing importance of a sustainability strategy integrated into business strategy.

Also noteworthy was the intervention by António Baldaque da Silva, Executive Director of the Center for Sustainable Finance at Católica Lisbon School of Economics and Business, who contributed to an inspiring end to the afternoon.

The event, which gathered over 120 participants, concluded with a networking session attended by all GRACE members.
