Recycle Geeks is the new partner of the LIPOR Waste Observatory

Recycle Geeks collects computers and other electronics, with the intention of promoting their repair! Where some see trash, Recycle Geeks  saw an opportunity to take advantage of goods and give them a second life! In addition to the repairing side of the project, they also try to pass on this knowledge to anyone interested in learning and repairing their own computers.

With Recycle Geeks there are now 26 entities that jointly promote the reduction or reuse of goods, measuring and reporting in an aggregated way the environmental impact that all these good practices translate into. Furthermore, it allows communicating and making information available to raise awareness about these topics (reduce and reuse) while contributing to the growth, inspiration and the replication of these projects.

The Waste Observatory is a platform that aggregates and reports statistical information from the 8 LIPOR’s associated municipalities related to waste management: from prevention to recovery!
