LIPOR Academy Participates in Capacity-Building Program in Turkey
As the coordinator of the AI4Waste project under the ERASMUS+ program, the LIPOR Academy recently took part in a training and capacity-building program for technical staff in Darica, Turkey.
This intensive week of work, held from October 7 to 11, aimed to increase participants' knowledge and understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and their potential applications in waste management. The program focused on exploring innovative AI solutions that can boost efficiency, optimize processes, and reduce environmental impact in the waste management sector.
The program was highly engaging and productive, with valuable contributions from each of the project’s partners: the Municipality of Darica Belediyesi (Turkey), the Consell Comarcal Del Valles Occidental (Spain), and Sucessos Criativos (Portugal). Each partner brought unique perspectives and expertise, fostering a collaborative environment where innovative ideas and best practices were shared.
This program not only strengthened the skills of the participating technical staff but also reinforced the strategic partnership among the involved institutions. This experience marks a significant step forward in the AI4Waste project’s mission to promote digital transformation and sustainable development in waste management.
LIPOR Academy remains committed to leveraging international collaborations like this to drive sustainable change and develop cutting-edge solutions for future waste management challenges.
