LIPOR's international business "backoffice"

LIPOR International - Global Waste Management is LIPOR's international brand and commitment across borders. It is a growing business area that provides specialized technical consultancy services, making the best professionals in the waste sector available to international clients.

On October 25th, LIPOR organized an internal management training session, focused on internationalization, for its employees. The aim of this initiative was to explore the demands and challenges of international work and to share experiences and lessons learned.

During the training, members of LIPOR's International Business Division (DNI) presented what goes on behind the scenes at the organization during the process of responding to and applying for international projects, negotiating with partners and clients, and defining teams of consultants, demonstrating in practice that there is a significant set of activities and steps that are crucial to the success of this activity before the project gets off the ground.

The crucial role that consultants play in the various interventions was also reinforced, underlining how their experience can enrich projects and make it easier to adapt to new realities. The importance of multicultural characteristics was also emphasized, reinforcing the need to value diversity and inclusion.

LIPOR's International Consultants Exchange already has around 50 members, categorized as Junior, Senior and Senior+ consultants.
