Novo Verde supports the launch of LIPOR’s wall-mounted recycling bin

In an awareness campaign to promote recycling packaging waste, Novo Verde supports the launch of Wallie, a wall-mounted domestic recycling bin developed by LIPOR with recycled plastics from end-of-life tables and chairs. An innovative project that reflects LIPOR's will to promote a lifestyle that contributes to the sustainability of the planet.

Its modern and functional design allows you to recycle with style and use the recycling bin as a decorative piece, as it is customizable. Furthermore, Wallie was developed to be fixed to the wall, which makes it possible to take advantage of free spaces; allows cleaning the floor easily; and allows you to have a recycling point in any environment.

Winner of the FAMAE international competition in 2018, Wallie was designed according to the principles of ecodesign. It is 100% recyclable and has 89% recycled material in its composition. Furthermore, its flat design allowed the packaging volume to be reduced by 40%.

Novo Verde joined the promotion of Wallie, an ecopoint that will be offered to schools within the scope of its Geração Verdão campaign, a program in line with the National Environmental Education Strategy, thus rewarding educational establishments involved in one of its challenges: Brigada Verdão, where students become auditors and monitor the separation of classroom waste.

Wallie is prepared for one flow, so each family or class can decide how many will be useful in their daily routine. Each Wallie supports up to 10kg and stores a volume of up to 22 liters, which corresponds to 32 flattened milk cartons or 12 not flattened. An internal bag, supplied with the Wallie, allows the transportation of waste to the outside Recycling Bin.
