Following the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the European Council created the Next Generation EU, a recovery instrument, from which the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism is developed, where the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) falls under.
The RRP is a nationally applicable programme, which will run until 2026 and provides for the implementation of a set of reforms and investments aimed at the resumption of sustained economic growth in the country.
This programme is organized into 20 components based on three structuring dimensions:
- Resilience;
- Climate Transition;
- Digital Transition.
