LIPOR Promotes "Complexo Uste" Exhibition in Partnership with Cooperativa Árvore at Casa do Corim

LIPOR, in partnership with the Cooperativa Árvore, presents the exhibition "Complexo Uste", on display at Casa do Corim from October 8 to December 6, 2024. Casa do Corim, managed by LIPOR as a sustainability hub, hosts this artistic showcase that explores the intersection of art and sustainability through the reuse of materials.

The exhibition features works by Abílio-José Santos, Susana Bravo, José Emídio, Rafael Alves, and Rosinda Casais, all of them artists whose practices reflect the integration of reused materials in their creations. Notable pieces include Abílio-José Santos's "Lixarte" series and Susana Bravo's "No Shoes for Mermaids," both of which challenge traditional forms of artistic expression by incorporating waste and alternative materials.

The exhibition aims to promote reflection on the conscious use of resources and the ability to transform waste into art, encouraging new perspectives on daily life and our relationship with the environment.

The exhibition will be open from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Admission is free.

On November 9, there will be a guided tour led by the artists themselves, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, providing a unique opportunity for the public to learn about the inspirations and creative processes behind the works.

Casa do Corim is located at Rua Dom Afonso Henriques, 2540, Águas Santas. Groups can schedule visits to the exhibition through the email: casadocorim@lipor.pt.
