LIPOR and Its Associated Municipalities Promote Third Webinar Series “Think and Act: A Mobilizing 2030 Agenda”

At a time when the Waste Management Sector is undergoing significant changes and facing decisions that impact its development and growth, LIPOR and its associated Municipalities organized the third series of webinars titled "Think and Act: a Mobilizing 2030 Agenda.”

The 2024 series featured three webinars focused on the following topics:

"The Value of Waste: Why Transform Waste into Energy?"
"Sharing Facilities in Waste Management: Optimizing Resources and Promoting Sustainability"
"Revolutionizing Waste Management: The Role of Artificial Intelligence and Technology for a Sustainable Future"

This event offered six hours of presentations and discussions, featuring 17 speakers, 2 moderators, and over 500 participants.

The Opening Sessions included remarks by the Chairman of LIPOR’s Board of Directors, Dr. José Manuel Ribeiro, and during one of the webinars, the Secretary of State for the Environment, Dr. Emídio Sousa, also participated.

These sessions fostered valuable exchanges and the sharing of ideas, which are expected to continue in 2025. Stay tuned!
