LIPOR Addresses Sustainability Reporting at the IV Accounting Conference at ISCAP
On November 19th, the Porto Accounting and Business School (ISCAP) hosted the IV Accounting Conference, an event that brought together over 190 participants, including students, alumni, professors, and business professionals. The objective was to bridge the gap between education, market demands, and societal needs.
During the event, emerging topics in accounting were discussed across two main panels. The first panel focused on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, while the second addressed sustainability reporting. These topics represent current challenges and opportunities for accounting professionals.
The conference featured several speakers from both the business and academic sectors. Notable participants included José Pedro Farinha (BTOCNET), André Gomes (DXspark - MoOngy Group), Paulo Janeiro (G-VON Cybersecurity), Tiago Lima (Cegid), Ana Isabel Lopes (ISCTE Business School) and Maria do Céu Silva (LIPOR).
LIPOR participated in the panel dedicated to sustainability reporting, aiming to share its experience in this field and engage participants in discussions about the current challenges and emerging opportunities for organizations in this area.
