LIPOR Signs Commitment on Human Rights

December 10, 1948, marks the celebration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted and proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly, establishing its commitment to Human Rights. In this spirit, LIPOR commemorates the date by reinforcing, through the development of its activities and relationships with its stakeholders, the protection and respect for Human Rights in all their forms and dimensions, by signing the Commitment on Human Rights.

This commitment also strengthens a set of internal control mechanisms and measures within its Value Chain to prevent and mitigate adverse impacts that it may be directly or indirectly involved in. This involves conducting a risk analysis related to respect for Human Rights.

LIPOR's corporate policies and management practices show its concerns about the promotion of the fundamental rights and freedoms of all individuals. They also reflect its active contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
