Sorting Plant
We are for the Integrated Waste Management and Multimaterial Recovery.
LIPOR Sorting Plant is a unit that aims to carry out a more detailed sorting of the materials collected from urban waste selective collection circuits, such as recycling bins, drop-off sites, door-to-door selective collection, so that they can be recycled.
Occupying a covered space of 4,000 m² and with an installed treatment capacity of around 50,000 tons/year, this unit allows the separation of flat materials - paper and cardboard - and rolling materials - plastic packaging into different lines. These lines are complemented by an electromagnet and an Eddy Current unit for the separation of ferrous and non-ferrous metals respectively.
This is another example of what we do to promote integrated waste management and the recovery of materials.
